Job description

Job responsibilities

Create, manage and launch customized CMS applications

Implement SEO best practices for better ranking on SERP

Build pop-ups and manage triggers as required

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and respective stakeholders to meet brand's content standards and guidelines

Ensure website optimization across browsers

Identify and fix issues for better performance

Suggest improvements to keep the application updated with the latest technical advancements

Prepare and maintain adequate documentation for future reference

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)

At least 3+ years of software development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)

Experience working with CMS technologies such as WordPress, Woocommerce, Magento, Opencart, Drupal, etc.

Solid understanding of CMS themes and plug-ins

Knowledge of technologies including, PHP, Java, C#, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Strong grasp on English language for effective communication

Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Expertise with both back-end and front-end development

Proficiency with version control tools like Git or SVN

Ability to optimize existing themes or build a customized one from scratch

Experience in working with web analytics tools

Familiarity with one or more video editing software

Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
