What this job can offer you
This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote and make a meaningful impact in the global employment space as the first Deal Commercial Strategy & Operations function within the Revenue Operations team.
We’re looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in deal strategy, deal desk operations, and pricing to help drive strategic, high-impact commercial initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our GTM organization—particularly with Sales—as well as cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and Billing. Your work will play a key role in maximizing monetization strategies and shaping simple, scalable, and execution-ready process frameworks.
What you bring
Solid experience in the software industry, ideally in Deal Desk, Commercial Pricing Strategy, or Revenue/Financial Operations roles
A sharp commercial mindset and a track record of leading multi product commercial and contracting negotiations
Proven ability to design and implement scalable deal processes from the ground up, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Finance, Legal, Billing, and Operations
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated judgment in high-stakes, complex deal scenarios
Deep expertise in financial and pricing modeling, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and a comfort working with complex structures
Proven success partnering with Sales and broader GTM teams, as well as key cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Legal, and Billing
A solid grasp of business strategy, financial principles, and legal considerations, with the ability to navigate trade-offs and align deal structures with company goals
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience influencing decision-making and driving alignment across diverse teams
Experience working with and managing virtual, globally distributed teams
Resilience under pressure, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform in stressful and time-sensitive environments such as end-of-month and quarter
Familiarity with software revenue recognition principles, contracting processes, and operational implications of deal terms
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—clear, concise, and effective across written and verbal formats
High attention to detail, data-driven, and process-oriented
Proficient in Salesforce and CPQ platforms
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Previous experience working in a remote or distributed environment is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable deal desk processes, partnering closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Billing, and GTM teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and commercially sound deal execution
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Sales and GTM stakeholders, guiding deal structure, pricing strategy, and commercial terms to support successful contract execution and long-term customer value
Manage the day-to-day deal desk operations, including reviewing and approving quotes, facilitating deal approvals, and ensuring alignment with internal policies and business goals
Evaluate and structure non-standard deal requests, ensuring clear communication of business rationale and accurate documentation within the Deal Approval System
Own and continuously improve pricing tools, calculators, and deal templates to enhance consistency, usability, and strategic alignment
Drive initiatives to automate and optimize deal desk workflows, reducing friction and enabling sales productivity across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle
Interpret and escalate contractual terms as needed to ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies, compliance requirements, and operational capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Finance, Compensation, and Sales Operations) to ensure bookings, commissions, and reporting are accurate and up-to-date
Provide guidance and training to Sales teams on deal best practices, process adherence, and pricing strategy
Support high-volume periods such as month-end and quarter-end, ensuring timely deal closure and alignment with revenue targets

The base salary range for this full-time position is between$93,100 USD to $139,700 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
