Key Responsibilities
Source, purchase, and deliver set Kilograms of green leaf per day from assigned Outgrowers routes/farms.
Work collaboratively with the assigned Greenleaf Clerk and Loader to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to all workshop motor vehicle and safety procedures.
Perform routine vehicle checks before operation, including oil, water, tyres, lights, brakes, fuel, odometer/hour meter, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, travel logs, and records on fuel usage, kilometer readings, service details, and work hours.
Report any faults, damages, or irregularities in the vehicles/equipment to management immediately.
Ensure vehicles are always clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
Drive responsibly in compliance with Kenyan traffic rules, company policies, and estate/factory speed limits.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with farmers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
O’ Levels /KCSE Certificate
A valid Kenyan driving license (Class C or higher, with PSV/G endorsement).
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
At least 3 years’ proven driving experience, preferably with trucks or delivery vehicles.
Knowledge of Kenyan traffic laws, road safety rules, and defensive driving techniques.
Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical checks.
Must be physically fit to handle the demands of delivery operations.
Ability to read, write, and maintain accurate records in logbooks.
